The Stonewall Community Foundation, the largest LGBT public foundation focused on the needs of New York’s community, held its annual women’s event on Nov 30 at Ultra Lounge. Women poured into the venue to honor Lori Hricik, CEO of JPMorgan Chase Treasury Services; Martha Stark, New York City Finance Commissioner; and Judith Turkel, attorney and community activist.

Kicked off by comedian Kate Clinton, the evening was DJed by Susan Morabito.

“This year’s fundraiser,” said Executive Director William L. Mattle, “plays an important part in matching the $150,000 grant Stonewall has received to build the infrastructure of autonomous LGBT people of color organizations.”

As the largest LGBT public foundation focused on the needs of New York’s LGBT community, the Stonewall Community Foundation has awarded $13+ million in grants to more than 450 organizations since 1990 when it began.
