Turns out all that Brooklyn angst was just lesbian foreshadowing.

During a recent interview, Lena Dunham offered a glimpse into what the Girls gang might be up to now, eight years after the HBO series wrapped. Shoshana, she suggested, runs an athleisure empire, which honestly checks out. When it came to her own character, Dunham simply said, “Hannah’s a lesbian.”

In a separate chat with Variety earlier this month, she doubled down, imagining Hannah teaching at Bard, raising her son, and dating a female chef. No longer fixated on fame, just living that upstate sapphic life. There are no current plans for a Girls reunion, but in Dunham’s words, “never say never.”
