here! TV’s Dante’s Cove—TV’s guiltiest pleasure—is back on DVD June 5 with even more secrets, scandal and seduction. Combining sex, horror, the supernatural, homosexuality and camp, Season 2 is unapologetically unique. Catch it on DVD before Season 3 airs in the fall!

Cinemarosa, Queens’ only LGBT screening series, closes it spring season and commemorates its third anniversary with the program “Milestone Visions,” as well as a reception and cocktail/dance party. The screening includes critically-acclaimed documentary Paris is Burning, an inside look at the lives of New York’s gay, black and Latino drag queens who invented the dance style of "voguing.” Other works included are Anthem, a politicization of the homoeroticism of African American men, and Carmelita Tropicana, a short portrayal of a day in the life of Latina performance artist Carmelita Tropicana.

NewFest 2007: The 19th New York Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Film Festival, one of the most comprehensive forums of international LGBT film/video in the world, returns to NYC May 31–June 10. Films being screened include Itty Bitty Titty Committee starring The L Word’s Daniela Sea and Zero Chou’s film Spider Lilies. In early May, NewFest will update their website with schedules, venues, showtimes and more. Keep checking!
