Towa Bird just dropped a new music video starring Love Lies Bleeding star Katy O’Brian and the dom/sub vibes are leaving fans in a tizzy.
“Dog” is the third track off Bird’s sophomore album, Gentleman, both of which were released on May 15. The song offers a glimpse into a relationship all about loyalty and deference. Slowly unfurling lyrics like “Put me on your lap / Pet me just like that / Tell me I’m so good / Tell me I’m the best” lead up to the soon-to-be familiar refrain of “I can be your dog / I can be your dog.”
Fortunately for sapphic fans, the video steers hard into the imagery suggested in the song. For much of the video, Bird alternates between lounging in a chair and crawling around on the floor. It isn’t until just before the two-minute mark that O’Brian comes into the scene, fully done up in just the right amount of leather to fully drive home the themes at play.
And if you were wondering whether a leash and collar would help paint the picture? Well, the answer is an emphatic “yes.”
Fans reacted about as calmly as one might expect with this specific combo of ladies and imagery.
“literally had me gasping for air after [I] watched this video 10/10,” one person commented on Bird’s Instagram. Another claimed it had them “BLUSHING,” while a third joked, “100% gonna tell the kids this is Heated Rivalry.”
O’Brian’s wife, Kylie Chi, also shared a couple behind the scenes photos of the two stars.
“I’m not obsessed with this, you are,” she added.
After initially finding traction on TikTok in 2020, Bird has carved out a name for herself in the music world over the last few years. By the time she and Reneé Rapp went public with their relationship, Bird was on the cusp of releasing her first album (2024’s American Hero) and had amassed a loyal following of her own.
O’Brian, of course, is best known for her role opposite Kristen Stewart in 2025’s delightfully strange bodybuilding thriller Love Lies Bleeding, and has appeared in Twisters, Queens of the Dead, and Running Man since then.
In addition to being the third track on the album, “Dog” is also the third music video Bird has released from Gentleman. Judging by what she’s put out so far, if she wants to drop a few more music videos from this era, fans are going to be eager and waiting, respectfully.
