Actors Laurel Holloman, Leo Shang, and Leisha Hailey as well as showrunner Marja-Lewis Ryan have been sharing behind the scenes pictures on social media:

What happens with Bette and Tina? Does Alice get engaged? Does Shane make it work with Tess? Has anyone checked on Finn?!

In a press release, it seems that many answers to the character’s crossroads will be answered: “In season two, Bette (Beals) dealt with Tina (guest star Laurel Holloman) and Carrie’s (guest star Rosie O’Donnell) engagement, and daughter Angie’s (Hull) search for her birth father; Shane (Moennig) ramped up her business and her feelings for Tess (Jamie Clayton); and hot new author Alice (Hailey) wrestled with her own complicated feelings for her book editor. Meanwhile, a newly single Dani (Mandi) leaned on Gigi (Moafi) during her father’s trial; Finley (Toboni) and Sophie (Zayas) tried hard to make it work despite Finley’s spiraling addiction; and friends Micah (Sheng) and Maribel (Jillian Mercado) fell hard for each other. What results of all these complex affairs of life and love will be revealed in season three.”

Guest star Rosie O’Donnell commented “hey woman – i will see u soon” on Laurel Holloman’s post about Generation Q, basically solidifying her return to the show. Donald Faison, who plays Alice’s book editor Tom, has not confirmed his return, but with a cliffhanger like an engagement ring, they *have* to bring him back.

The release of season 3 has tentatively set for February of next year, but we are already hanging at the edge of our seats.
