‘The Hunting Wives’ Drops Steamy Season 2 Photos—And A Premiere Date
How many characters will make it out of this season alive?
Netflix just dropped a first look at the new season of The Hunting Wives, and we are so ready!
Season one of the surprise hit followed Sophie (Brittany Snow) as she and her husband moved to Texas, where they found themselves in the midst of a bunch of gun-loving, conservative socialites—and multiple murder mysteries, of course.
An extremely key part of Sophie’s story involves her developing attraction to the clique’s de facto leader, Margo (Malin Åkerman), who’s both married (to a man) and sexually entangled with another woman from her group. It’s a soapy, steamy delight that amassed a number of viewers and quickly earned a renewal for season two.
For any fans worried that all of the drama would result in less action between Sophie and Margo, you’ll be thrilled to know that the recently-released first look photos from the new season confirm that the chemistry between them is still going strong.
“At the start of season 2, Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together,” reads the official season two description. “As they play their dangerous games, the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?”
While plot details remain largely under wraps, we do know that a number of familiar faces will be returning to Maple Brook, including Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, and Branton Box.
Joining the cast of season two are John Stamos, Dale Dickey, Angel Reese, Kim Matula, Cam Gigandet, and Alex FitzAlan.
Perhaps most importantly of all, we finally have a premiere date. Season two will be hitting Netflix on November 26. So get ready to set aside the turkey baster and corral the whole fam into the living room for a Thanksgiving Day viewing party. After all, nothing says “fun for the whole family” like secret sapphic sexcapades in the south!
