Ben Stiller is (somehow — perfectly!) able to capture the uniquely female experience of vibing to a heartbreaking song on a late night drive in SZA’s new music video.
The “Drive” video dropped Thursday night, drawing up plenty of excitement for her new album SOS Deluxe: LANA, which drops Friday.
In the video, 59-year-old Stiller is shown lip-syncing for his life as he drives down an empty road in the woods. SZA’s song is on blast in his speakers, something we’ve all experienced.

The song lyrics echo the scene as Stiller closes his eyes and drifts between traffic lanes.
I been up ’til up midnight, drivin’ to nowhere
Bumpin’ a slow song, can’t get my head clear
I been up ’til sunrise, headed to nowhere
Hopin’ that someone’s missin’ me somewhere
Stiller, obviously overtaken by the music, rolls his window down and sticks his head through. His hands fail above him, and we’re surprised he didn’t add a “woohoo” to really seal the deal.
Eventually, he needs to get a few dance moves out. His dance can only be described as the kind done in front of a mirror when no one is watching. And we say that with love.

And I know that if love is my purpose
I can’t waste energy lookin’ for enemies, I just dub it all
I’m anti-beef, half your bitches be too cheap
Half a milli when I bling, fuck I look like, on my knees?
While Stiller is serving full princess and is surprisingly perfect for this role, we needed SZA to make an appearance in the video. She did not disappoint.
The camera rolls through tall grass until it eventually lands on our queen bee (literally). SZA is giving full body in this video… and a little antenna.

The full music video is definitely worth a watch.
