Olivia Miles Hard Launches Relationship With Former Teammate Maddy Westbeld And The Crowd Goes Wild

Meet the latest basketball power couple.
It’s official: Olivia Miles and Maddy Westbeld have confirmed what fans have been quietly celebrating for a while—they’re in a relationship, and they’re done keeping it subtle.
Miles posted a 13-photo Instagram carousel over the weekend, captioned simply “pov.” Among the shots were two telling photos of Westbeld, including a mirror selfie where a flash conveniently obscures just enough. Fans immediately took it as a “hard launch.”
Former teammate Kylee Watson summed it up best in the comments: “AND THE HARD LAUNCHHHH IM IN TEARSSSSSS 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😭😭😭😭😭😭😭”

For longtime observers, this wasn’t a surprise. The former Notre Dame teammates, longtime friends, and cat co-parents’ relationship has been visible for a while to anyone paying attention. There was the Aruba vacation. And, of course, the shared custody of Bean Miles-Westbeld, a cat with his own Instagram account. Westbeld even chimed in under Miles’ post, joking, “beans mom posted u finally!”
Miles, once projected to be a top WNBA draft pick, shocked many by transferring to TCU instead. The move came after Notre Dame’s season ended at the hands of that very team.
Westbeld, meanwhile, battled through injury in her final year at Notre Dame and declared for the draft. She was picked up by the Chicago Sky and is now finding her rhythm in the league.

“I’ve gained so much resilience and so much character,” she told CBS Sports. “I don’t think I could be in a better position.”
Fans have responded to the relationship news with overwhelming joy.
“Oh my god i used to pray for days like these,” one commented.
“The GOAT and the GODDESS Dam right I’m here for this one,” added another.
We wish these badass lovebirds (and Bean) the best and look forward to lots more aww-inducing shares.
