Three icons have come together in the studio to feed the gay community with a new single.

Three icons have come together in the studio to feed the gay community with a new single.

“My Oh My” by global star Kylie Minogue featuring Tove Lo and Bebe Rexha showcases Minogue’s signature dance pop, complete with breathy vocals and a bumping bass. A video posted to Minogue’s Instagram shows the three strutting to the song.

The flirty song begins with Minogue having a convo with a cutie at a bar, making for the perfect club or pregame tune. She introduces herself in the pre-chorus (as if she would need an introduction) and reps her astrological sign: “When you asked, ‘What’s your name?’/ ‘What’s your sign?’ I’m Kylie, it’s Gemini/ What’s your drink? Let me buy /You had me when you said, ‘Hi’/ Hi”.

Rexha, who identifies as sexually fluid, hops on the song with a sexy second verse. Described as a “pop chameleon,” she’s written and released music under a variety of genres, including hip-hop, alternative rock, country, and dance. Her voice blends perfectly under the beat and beside Minogue’s.

“Rush of hands, lingering looks (Ah)/ My name in your mouth, that was all it took,” Rexha whispers. She also gets her introduction in, a common theme in the song: “I’m Bebe, I’m a Virgo.”

Rexha and Minogue go at the catchy chorus together, which is sure to be stuck in your head all summer. “La-la-la-la/ I’m like, ‘Oh, my, oh, my’/ La-la-la-la/ You keep me up at night/ La-la-la-la/ I’m feelin’ fireflies.”

Bi-con Tove Lo joins in with her own introduction: “Never ever met someone like you/ Hey, hello/ I am To-Tove Lo (Uh-uh)/ I’m a, I’m a Scorpio/ Yeah, the sexy jealous kind.”

All three stars have successfully made their own names in the pop community, as well as become big names with queer fans. Minogue had an outstanding response to the release of her album Tension last year, hitting No. 1 in the U.K. and Australia according to Billboard. The release of “Padam Padam” became such an earworm in queer culture that the term became slang, and the song was even featured on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Tove Lo, who rose in mainstream fame in 2014 with the release of “Talking Body” and “Habits (Stay High)” dropped a four-track EP Heat last month. It was her first release since her 2022 album Dirt Femme. Fans of Rexha have patiently awaited a new release since her self-titled album Bebe was released last year. She recently took the stage at the Palmesus music festival in Norway and London Pride.
