Kate Moennig is breaking the lesbian side of the internet by partnering up with Quinn, the hottest audio erotica platform to grace our devices. The app describes itself as “created by women for the world” and began making waves in the sapphic community after featuring the voice of Victoria Pedretti in a series titled Compromised last year (which is still available on the app if you missed it).
The app has also featured Thomas Doherty, Jesse Williams, and Andrew Scott. In the latest series Amplified, Moennig plays a “reclusive former rockstar” named Sam Shaw. With her shaggy hair and effortless confidence, this is an easy cast. Lola, a ghost writer who visits Shaw to help write her memoir.
The story unfolds as Shaw and Lola begin to deepen their relationship, diving into why Shaw decided to leave her music career behind at her peak. The romance is steamy and a bit of a slow burn, with enough sexy lines from Moennig to get your heart beating.
Quinn started teasing the series on social media last month with behind-the-scene clips of the set, which is giving off lesbian cowgirl vibes. Complete with a wooden fence, toolbox, rope, dirt ground, and lots of tall grass- the series is set in “a ranch in the sprawling grasslands of Montana”. The only thing we’re missing is Moennig in a cowboy hat.
Fans quickly sounded off in the comments at the first sight of a hand or ankle, throwing out guesses as to who the new star could be. We heard Kristen Stewart, Lili Reinhart, Towa Bird, Julien Baker, and so on. But once a clip of Moennig’s hand gripping a chair was dropped, L Word fans immediately knew.

It’s not her first audio book. She’s voiced several, including Michael Connelly’s The Late Show in 2017. But this collaboration with Quinn was special to her.
