The extramarital love life of pro golfer Tiger Woods became a national fixation after a bizarre Thanksgiving weekend incident involving a car accident, a golf club and the golfer’s wife, Elin. What seemed like thousands of women came out of the woodwork to claim that they, too, had an affair with Tiger (who apparently had a lot of time on his hands). As a result of this soap opera-worthy drama, Tiger retired from public view for several months, but returned after the din died down to compete in the 2010 Masters Tournament, where he placed fourth.
