Yet More Dyke Drama
“The L Word” gets real—ahem—this summer with Ilene Chaiken’s new production, the self-explanatorily titled “The Real L Word: Los Angeles.” This Showtime-backed “reality” show will feature another cast of predominantly tall, white, long haired, femme, wealthy Los Angeles-based lesbians who interact in an incestuous world filled with lots of juvenile behavior and high end fashions. This potpourri of lesbo eye candy should make for some real live entertainment this summer.
