Dearest Gentle Readers,
At long last, we—alongside the sapphics of our fair city—are prepared to emerge from the great indooring of winter. To slip free from beneath our weighted blankets, unbinding ourselves from the cuffs of our winter situationship entanglements, and step forth into the grandest season of
all: Pride season.
And why, you may ask, are we making this declaration with such grandiloquence? Well, for one, our bosoms have been positively heaving since the announcement of Bridgerton’s forthcoming sapphic season. But frankly, no other style of prose could adequately capture our renewed lesbian yearning for once again promenading at Pride quite like Regency-level narration.
Thus, we return once more, bearing delightful tidings and splendid anticipation for the season ahead.
Our forthcoming Pride Issue, featuring the ever-adored “100 Women We Love,” shall arrive just in time for the revelries of Brooklyn Pride weekend, as tradition so beautifully demands. Within its pages, one shall also discover GO OUT, New York City’s most exhaustive guide to Pride festivities, arts, amusements, soirées, and nocturnal diversions — ensuring no reader misses a single glittering occasion throughout the season. Complimentary copies may be procured at more than seventy-five venues, cafés, celebrations, and boutiques throughout the city. Further particulars shall be revealed on June 1 at GOMagazine.com.
And now, dear readers, a few particularly thrilling announcements:
- A New Social Season Approaches: Beginning with the 2026–2027 season, GO shall grace society more frequently, transitioning to a quarterly publication schedule, with aspirations of expanding to six editions yearly by late 2027. One does adore ambition.
- A Most Distinguished Anniversary: This April marks GO’s twenty-fifth anniversary — yes, twenty-five illustrious years. To commemorate such a milestone, several months of special features, festivities, and one truly unforgettable anniversary issue are presently in preparation.
- The Return of National Society: GO shall once again embark upon its grand national distribution tour, returning to beloved cities across the country. Beginning with the Pride Issue, readers may find copies in San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Los Angeles, with further destinations to be announced in due course.
Until our next correspondence, dear reader…
With the greatest affection,
Us
