Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson Clap Back At Homophobic Troll On Instagram

April 29, 2019

Delevingne called what she has with Benson "true love" in her reply.

We’ve been following the relationship between Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson through it all. From getting caught making out at London’s Heathrow Airport to being spotted canoodling at Paris Fashion Week, the celesbian couple has been on our radar through it all.

Despite the presence of a picture every so often, however, the two have been fairly private with what’s happening between them. Now, the two have shed their cloak of relationship invisibility to come to each other’s defense from a homophobic troll.

The comments started after a questionable video (that apparently showed a woman tying up a friend’s hands with rope and walking her like a dog) was posted on an Ashley Benson fan Instagram. Pop Crave captured and posted the comments to Twitter. The caption of the post read “You can see @caradelevingne tying up and slapping a woman… The video is from last week. EVERY week there is something disrespectful towards @ashleybenson. I’m so glad Ashley is not around Cara anymore. @caradelevingne is always so disrespectful. Ashley deserves better!”

Underneath the post, a comment was posted by a user that read “I’m serious you need to stay away from that devil and never go back I’m sure many strong handsome religious man would take you back in a heartbeat. You are not like this you aren’t gay you love men and you need one.”

Benson responded immediately, telling the commenter to keep to himself. “You need to mind your own business,” she wrote in her reply. “Stop making things up.”

Delevingne then swooped in to defend her woman, posting her own comment under the video and tagging the homophobic commenter. “You are fucking disgusting! If you have a problem with true love then come and say this shit to my face instead pathetically hating through Instagram,” the model posted. “I genuinely feel sorry for you both, you are clearly not happy with your lives and have far too much time on your hands. Maybe get a hobby that doesn’t involve being homophobic and hating others for being happy.”

While we are rather confused about the video that sparked all of this and hate seeing homophobic trolls, we couldn’t be more excited to see Delevingne jumping in to defend Benson. It doesn’t hurt that she called what they have “true love” either. Let’s hope we get to see more of Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson in the future; though, hopefully, it’ll be them cuddling, rather than standing up for their love.
