Can December 8 get here any sooner?! The premiere of “The L Word: Generation Q” is still a couple of months away, but thankfully, there’s a brand new trailer to tide you over while you wait. Showtime just dropped the second teaser trailer for the revived series.
The new trailer doesn’t give much of the plot of the new series away, but it does make a few things clear. First, Shane is still very much Shane. Second, “The L Word” ladies still have the same hilarious and alluring dynamic as before.
ICYMI, the first “The L Word: Generation Q” trailer dropped in late August. For the new series, Katherine Moennig is back to play Shane, Leisha Hailey is back as Alice, and Jennifer Beals is back as Bette.
There are a lot of new characters, too. Earlier casting announcements included Dani Nuñez (Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (Leo Sheng), Sarah Finley (Jacqueline Toboni), Jordi (Sophie Giannamore), Rebecca (Olivia Thirlby), and Heather (Fortune Feimster). The new teaser doesn’t, however, reveal very much about these new characters, because they’ve gotta leave something to our imaginations, right?
With so many new people in “The L Word” universe, we can only imagine the ridiculous lesbian drama that is going to take place on this new season. Can. Not. Wait.
