‘The L Word: Generation Q’ Casts Fortune Feimster & 3 More Characters

The comedian will play, well… a comedian.

Meet the next batch of new characters of “The L Word: Generation Q:” Jordi, Heather, Olivia, and Quiara. The new show is anticipated for this fall and will follow original series characters Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals), Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey), and Shane McCutheon (Kate Moennig) as they meet a plethora of new characters.

Previous casting announcements have clued us in to the fact that Arienne Mandi, Leo Sheng, Jacqueline Toboni, and Rosanny Zayas have joined the cast of the how. Now, we’ve learned to expect four new faces: Fortune Feimster, Sophie Giannamore, Lex Scott Davis, and Olivia Thirlby.

Fortune Feimster (“The Mindy Project”) will appear as Heather, described as “an aspiring comedian who lacks boundaries” by The Hollywood Reporter. Sophie Giannamore (“Transparent”) will be playing Jordi, a rebellious teenager with a clear lack of parental guidance. While Giannamore herself is trans, it’s unconfirmed how that will fit into the storyline—or if it will at all.

Actress Olivia Thirlby (who you’ll know from “Juno” and also from being a known bisexual), will guest star on “The L Word: Generation Q” as Rebecca, a kind-hearted lady who often finds herself attracted to the wrong kind of women (same girl). Finally, Lex Scott Davis (“Superfly”) will play Quiara, a lead singer with a certain sensuality who has traveled internationally but just landed back in LA.

We can’t wait to see these new characters in action! Who knows what exciting “The L Word: Generation Q” news will pop up next!
