5 Lesbian Things To Do In New York City This Weekend

No lie, there’s a nice ~variety~ of lesbian events to choose from this weekend, New Yorkers!

Friday

Queer Play: A LGBTQ Game Night and Happy Hour at SlateNY (54 W. 21st St.) at 5:30 p.m. — GO Mag is co-hosting this game night with Girl Social NYC! Socialize, play games, drink cocktails, eat food.

Wet: Dance Party No. 1 at The Vault (248 McKibbin St.) at 10 p.m. — This is a new dance party with the intent to “integrate LGBTQ people of all races, genders, and sexualities” and to “make you sweat until your clothes are dripping wet.”

Saturday

Don’t Call Me Sweetie at Eastville Comedy Club (487 Atlantic Ave.) at 6 p.m. — A comedy open mic for women and LGBTQ folks.

YAS MAMA at C’mon Everybody (325 Franklin Ave.) at 11 p.m. — A queer Superbowl-themed event! Yes ma’am. This edition of YAS MAMA, a Latinx QTPOC dance party and drag show, is Shakira vs. J.Lo halftime show themed (no football involved).

Sunday

Meditation for QTPOC at Third Root Community Health Center (380 Marlborough Rd.) at 6:45 p.m. — Every first Sunday in Brooklyn, a group meditation for queer and trans people of color, plus readings and discussions.
