It’s Summer. It’s Hot. Let’s Write.

Don’t let the sweat snuff your creative spark. Commit to your writing this summer. We’re expanding our regular free Queer Writing Nights and hosting them every Tuesday in July and August here at Hive Mind Books in Bushwick.

Come to one session or all of them, as many as you’d like and whatever fits your schedule! Space is limited and RSVPs are required. If you RSVP and can’t attend, please cancel your registration.

This is an event specifically for queer and trans writers. Bring your work-in-progress, or the muse and a blank page, and write in quiet community in our cozy bookstore. We’ll write for 40 minutes, break for 15 minutes, and then write for another 30 minutes. No critiques, no readings, no prompts (unless you want one!), just focused time to write.

$1 off drinks and 10% off books for all who participate. No purchase necessary to attend.

We have wifi, coffee and tea, pastries, and shelves full of authors to inspire us. There will be time for people to chat, however, socializing is not required.

Hive Mind Books is a queer and trans bookstore and coffee shop in Bushwick.
