Every Queer Player Competing in the 2026 WNBA All-Star Weekend (So Far)

Meet the queer starters going to the 2026 WNBA All-Star Weekend.

Once a year, WNBA fans get to set aside our differences and celebrate the talent, chaos, and, frankly, queerness of this wonderful league. Of course, I’m talking about All-Star Weekend. All of the best players in the league gather to compete in skills challenges, face off in an All-Star Game, and live their best lives at parties that are being livestreamed by the StudBudz for all to see.

Last year we saw couples revealed, rumors were confirmed, random pairs of our fave players were spotted dancing on one another at the club, oh and the All-Star Game itself, of course. What will happen this year?

The All-Stars were just announced, so let’s get into who all is gay. As poet Laganja Estranja once said, “Let’s get All-Started!”

Paige Bueckers – Dallas Wings

The second-year Dallas Wings guard has undoubtedly become one of the league’s stars, making her impact quickly known during her rookie year despite the Wings’ poor season. The UConn alum is known for her shifty play, crafty jump shot, and dedication to putting the team on her back, putting her hair in a low pony and handling it. Bueckers’ much-discussed relationship with No. 1 draft pick Azzi Fudd has yet to interfere with the teammates’ season as they have quickly become two of the top scorers on the Wings.

Breanna Stewart – New York Liberty

Stew York, get excited! Stewie is back in the All-Stars, and that’s exactly where she belongs. One of the faces of the growing league, Breanna Stewart has become a leader in player negotiations while remaining lethal on the court. Stewart most recently became the only player in league history to win MVP at the Commissioner’s Cup twice. If there is anyone who knows about winning, it’s Stewie, who has a record four consecutive NCAA Championships from her time at UConn as well as three WNBA championships. Stewart is married to retired Spanish basketball player Marta Xargay, and the couple has two kids together.

Jessica Shepard – Dallas Wings

Wings forward Jessica Shepard has had a nontraditional journey in the WNBA and is finally getting her All-Star flowers. After winning the NCAA Championship with Notre Dame, Shepard was drafted 16th overall to the Minnesota Lynx, where she stayed from 2019-2025. An ACL injury and season-long suspension caused a rocky road for Shepard in the beginning of her W career. In 2025, Shepard came back with a vengeance. Now, as a newly signed Wing, she has continued to prove her worth, recording more triple-doubles than anyone in the league and is the only player in the league averaging at least 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists, all while sporting the classic masc top bun.

Gabby Williams – Golden State Valkyrie

If there is one player that continuously goes viral on lesbian socials for being stunning, it’s Gabby Williams. More than just a pretty face, UConn alum Williams is a selfless powerhouse who makes any team better. On the Valks this season, she has seamlessly become the leader the young team needed. Williams also happens to be in a relationship with French National Team teammate and WNBA star Marine Johannes.

Olivia Miles – Minnesota Lynx

Minnesota Lynx star rookie has certainly come into the league with something to prove. Since getting drafted second overall, Olivia Miles has been on a generational run, with an insane passing ability, three-level scoring and, of course, her signature goggles. Miles isn’t just the best rookie of the season; she might just be one of the best players of the season. Miles made headlines last year when she hard-launched with former Notre Dame teammate Maddy Westbeld, but little of their relationship has been seen since.

Natasha Howard – Minnesota Lynx

Former Defensive Player of the Year Natasha Howard has been on a burner since leaving the Indiana Fever for the Minnesota Lynx in free agency this year. This season, the Florida State alum has been averaging 17.7 points per game while shooting 61 percent from the field. Having three WNBA Championships under her belt, Howard has proved herself to be one of the major reasons that the Lynx have the best record in the league thus far. Howard had her wedding to hair salon entrepreneur Jac’Eli Duckworth shown on the 11th season of Basketball Wives
