‘Yellowjackets’ Teaser Promises A ‘Final Reckoning’ Is Coming in Season 4
How will it all end?
A reckoning is coming in season four of Yellowjackets — or so the teaser trailer for the final season of the hit, oh-so-sapphic series promises.
Today, Paramount released an eerie teaser for the upcoming season, which hints at the team’s long-awaited rescue and the media frenzy that follows. According to the press release, this season will see the survivors racing to bury their sins before the rescuers arrive, and their homecoming might be more bittersweet than they expect. Meanwhile, in the present, “an old flame roars back into town with plans of her own.”
That the consequences are finally catching up with the survivors should come as no surprise, considering the dark note both timelines left off on at the end of season three. (That death still hurts. IYKYK.) Shauna, Tai, and Misty can’t run from the sins of their past forever. Eventually, what happened in the woods and everything that followed will catch up with them.
And hopefully we will get some answers to some of the biggest mysteries still unresolved in the series, like who burned down the cabin? And just how real is the supernatural entity in the woods?
Season four sees the return of stars Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Nia Sondaya, Jenna Burgess, and Hilary Swank.
