Video Of The Day: Kesha Marries A Lesbian Couple And Sings About Gay Love

Kesha, the bisexual queen that you are.

Kesha has been releasing hit songs for gay and straight people alike since the dawn of time (AKA 2009). Her most commercially successful singles, including “TikTok,” “Right Round,” and “We R Who We R,” sent the bisexual singer to early chart-topping success.

Today, we’re looking back on a Kesha single that simply deserved more attention. “I Need a Woman to Love” was released in 2018 as part of the collaborative album Universal Love – Wedding Songs Reimagined, which rerecorded popular love songs to make them…more gay. And Kesha delivered.

In this Janis Joplin cover, originally titled “I Need a Man to Love,” Kesha perfectly embodies the heartfelt search for the woman of her dreams. While Kesha’s vocals are on full display for the first half of the music video, the second half will surely bring you to tears.

Will we see her perform this underrated single during her headlining slot at All Things GO DC this year? Probably not, but we can hold out hope.
