With the 2025 Grammy Awards set for Sunday, February 2, we’re revisiting some queer and queer-adjacent performances from Grammys past that will never fall out of tune.

More than a decade ago, Lady Gaga arrived at the 2011 Grammys in an egg and emerged to deliver a performance that would cement Born This Way as a defining queer anthem. The song’s message of radical self-acceptance became an instant rallying cry, and in the years since, it has only grown in power.
