Hudson Pride, New York Liberty games, Braking the Cycle

Pride season doesn’t end with summer: Hudson Pride Connections Center will host the 11th Annual Hudson Pride Festival and Parade on Saturday, Aug 27 in Jersey City, NJ. The day begins with a parade, beginning City Hall on Grove Street, that leads the crowds to the festival at One Exchange Place. Party down on the JC waterfront!

Registration is now open for Braking the Cycle, the three-day bike ride from Boston to New York benefiting the HIV/AIDS services of the LGBT Center. Starting Sept 16, join more than 120 cyclists for a three-day journey from Beantown to the steps of The Center.

NYC’s very own WNBA team, the New York Liberty, has already kicked off another action-packed summer season. If shooting hoops in the rapidly-intensifying heat isn’t your thing, make B-ball a spectator sport and watch the Liberty burn up the courts from the sidelines. The Liberty’s season doesn’t end ’til September, but July in particular is packed with home games, so make it a point to  head to Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center to watch your fave female ballers in action!
