Save the date—and some post-Pride energy—for The Center’s Dancing on the Beach 11, July 23 in East Hampton. Cut a rug with 500 Center supporters in this annual tea dance to raise money for the organization’s vital programs.

God’s Love We Deliver’s Midsummer Night Drinks welcomes 400 generous friends to a private Hamptons home for a summer evening of cocktails, music and spectacular views.  All funds raised go to providing meals for those living with HIV/AIDS.

The 35th Annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks returns to the West Side to delight New Yorkers and the nation with an awe-inspiring display of patriotic firepower. This year’s extravaganza includes 40,000 fireworks expertly synchronized to a dynamic 25-minute score.

The Mermaid Parade returns to the Coney Island boardwalk on June 18. The Mermaid Parade celebrates the sand, the sea, the salt air and the beginning of summer, as well as the history and mythology of Coney Island. Participants dress in hand-made Mermaid, Neptune and sea creature costumes for a not-to-be-missed photo op.

June 19 at Roseland Ballroom, Broadway Bares XXI: Masterpiece offers a burlesque show packed with 200 human canvases that would make an art critic blush. The most delectable dancers in NYC will emulate the art world’s seductive nudes and give life to history’s sexiest sculptures. If “all art is erotic,” this auction is much too hot for Sotheby’s!

Everyone’s talking about Sandblast Weekend, coming up July 20–24 in the Jersey Shore’s gay capital, Asbury Park. Events just for women take place during all five days  and nights! Play at six fun happenings: the raucous Peek-A-Boo Revue strip-it-off burlesque show; the red-hot Siren of the Sea pool party with music by DJ Susan Levine; an art crawl in Asbury’s historic downtown area; a women’s jazz brunch on the boardwalk; cocktail parties; and WET, a sexy Brazilian-themed party on the ocean.

Original Sin Women’s Weekend is a new three-day women’s weekend taking place August 5–7 in Atlantic City. One Eleven Productions founder, Bridget Hauserman, has been producing women’s events since February 2009. Taking cues from top women’s weekends such as Dinah Shore, AquaGirl and others, Hauserman decided that the Northeast needed a women’s weekend that consisted of nothing but hot beaches, hot DJs, and thousands of women!
