‘The Celebrity Traitors’ Releases First Look at New Season
Murderous celebrities are heading back to the Scottish Highlands and we can’t wait.
Traitors, faithfuls, gather around. The teaser trailer for Season Two of The Celebrity Traitors dropped and we’re in for a treat.
“A moment of silence for the celebrities gathered today. Thoughts and prayers,” iconic host Claudia Winkleman said as she walked past pews full of traitorous and faithful celebrities. “
This season the Scottish Highlands will host The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey, actor Michael Sheen, and Oscar nominee Richard E. Grant alongside rising queer Industry star Myha’la and Heartstopper star Sebastian Croft.
Season 1 of the hit game was the most-watched show on British TV last year when iconic queer comedian Alan Carr won as a traitor.
BBC’s head of entertainment, Ed Havard, hinted that the cast of celebrities was so invested in the game that they have started asking to be cast in an all-star season. This season’s cast also includes Amol Rajan, James Acaster, James Blunt, Jerry Hall, Joanne McNally, Joe Lycett, Julie Hesmondhalgh, King Kenny, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya Jama, Miranda Hart, Professor Hannah Fry, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Ross Kemp, and Sharon Rooney.
BBC content chief Kate Phillips revealed that there will be tears and surprises in this season which premieres on October 8 on BBC One.
