Y’all, the world is a cold, hard place. We all need some extra love in our lives right now. And Teddy Geiger and Emily Hampshire Instagram engagement posts are just that. All the extra lovey, deep lez, mushy feels that are giving us a glimmer of hope to get through this week.
The singer-songwriter also known as teddy<3 gushed about her now fiancée, Schitt’s Creek actress Emily Hampshire, captioning her Instagram post, “I love this woman so much she treats me like a lil princess and makes me laugh harder than anyone. I am so fucking happy to wake up next to her every morning and fall asleep next to her every night.”
The couple confirmed they were dating back in August via an Instagram photo, and a month later appeared together at a few Toronto International Film Festival events. Geiger came out as transgender last year and released her new album, LillyAnna a week ago, which is her first collection since coming out. The positive energy seems to be abundant for Geiger, and we couldn’t be happier!
Emily also took to her Instagram post-engagement to say, “#shesaidyes …& she cried, then she made a video, then she posted it on insta and was glad she got her nails done today. My millennial girlfriend is now my millennial #fiance & I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
We wish the couple the most beautiful engagement, and we can’t wait for their millennial nuptials!
