Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson officially tied the knot with her partner Ramona Agruma Saturday during a private ceremony in Sardinia, Italy.
Photos of the big day reveal the blonde bombshells wore nearly identical white gowns on their big day, both rocking an off-the-shoulder sleeve and A-line silhouette with voluminous skirts. The couple exchanged “I dos” under a flower arch while holding matching bouquets of white roses.
The happy couple announced their engagement in February 2023, after fashion designer and entrepreneur Agruma was spotting rocking a ring. 44-year-old Wilson shared their magical Disneyland proposal on Instagram, exclaiming, “We said YES!”
In June 2022, the Bridesmaids star was forced to come out and disclose her relationship with Agruma after Australian journalist Andrew Hornery threatened to run a story about the couple. Hornery has since apologized. Wilson opened up about the horrible experience in October 2022, telling The Australian the couple didn’t get a chance to come out personally to some family members.
“Basically, with the situation where a journalist is threatening to out you, you’ve got to hurry,” Wilson said. “It was just a hard few days, especially for my partner, who’s not used to being in the public eye and having to deal with stuff like that.”
Wilson’s announcement, captioned, “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince … but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess,” was met with plenty of love from fans and followers. After going public, they went on their first couple vacation in Italy, making their wedding destination a special call-back.
The loving pair welcomed their first child, Royce Lillian, via surrogacy in November 2022.
“I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle!” Wilson wrote on Instagram. “I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable. I am learning quickly…much respect to all the Mums out there!”
In an interview with Australia’s Morning Show, Agruma said the experience has been “life changing” for them both.
“It’s like you start thinking about someone else instead of yourself, priorities change,” said Agruma. “It’s been amazing.”
