The ‘Canada’s Drag Race All Stars’ standout gets candid about strategy, shade, and embracing chaos online.

Pythia’s time on Canada’s Drag Race All Stars may have come to a close, but the Greek queen with the unbelievable lewks has zero regrets.

GO sat down with the All Star and fan favorite to talk about her time on the show, and the queen is reflecting on her latest outing on the main stage (after previously starring on Canada’s Drag Race season two and Global All Stars) from a place of total peace—and mischief. We caught up about why she believes her fellow queens were so quick to give her the chop and why she’s embracing her “troll era” online. A new rapping roastress is born!

She also opened up about her big plans for the next chapter of her career, and we had some fun asking her to cast a hypothetical Drag Race: The Odyssey, because who better?

GO Magazine: You’ve had a little time and distance from filming now. How do you feel about your Canada’s Drag Race All Stars run, and has your perspective changed at all?

Pythia: Yeah, that’s such a great question. Honestly, I’m good. I’m fine. I couldn’t be better.

It’s so funny that you ask if anything has changed retrospectively because even while I was doing the show—going back a third time and absolutely doing my best—I had this moment of clarity where I was like, “No matter what happens, I have come back the best version of myself.”

I worked so hard to create this package. I’ve showcased so much of my personal life on television twice before, and this time around I just wanted to go with the flow, have fun, and, what’s it called? Let go and let God. Literally, let go and let Brooke.

The Golden Beaver twist has completely changed the DNA of Canadas Drag Race. Did you go into the season expecting to play a social game?

It’s so funny that you say that because I never even thought about the Beaver. I was like, “It’s All Stars. Maybe there’s a points system. Maybe there are non-eliminations.”

Then they said, “It’s a Golden Beaver, and your sisters get to vote,” and I was like, “Oh no.”

All I could do was hope I was never in the bottom because, hey, I’ve earned my keep enough to pat myself on the back and say I’m big competition. These girls were going to give me the chop the moment they got the chance, and they did.

I was a little gooped. I was like, “Oh shit. Now it’s real. Now I have to be friends with these girls. Now I have to not seem as threatening. Now I have to use all my extra brain-cell power to strategize,” and I don’t have any left after all the E6000 and rhinestones.

It was a whole new game. It gagged me for sure.

Untucked became one of the most intense moments of the season. Were you surprised by how strongly some of the queens reacted when you pleaded your case? And was there any part of you that was a little flattered?

You literally took the words out of my mouth.

Low-key, I was like, “Oh, I’m that bitch, eh?” I was like, “Okay. I see what you’re doing. Clearly you’re threatened.” It’s a competition. You have to play to your strengths, and that’s totally okay.

Personally, I would want to fight against the best of the best. That’s what Global All Stars felt like for me. I was like, “Oh my God, this is the best of the best.” One queen representing their country, the best of the best from each franchise. It felt powerful because there wasn’t voting or strategizing. It was up to the judges and Ru.

This time around, it was a bit shitty. You work really hard. You’ve made such a name for yourself. You’ve worked so hard to prove who you are as an artist and a drag queen, and now it has to come down to a social game and a vote.

There was nothing I could do to plead my case and get myself out of this. I was in the bottom with two of the best performers in Canada. I was screwed. They were going to vote for me to go home.

I had just accepted my fate. I was like, “I know what’s happening here. I know what you’re doing, and that’s okay.”

Nearah Nuff and Tiffany Ann Co. were very vocal about wanting to eliminate you because you were such a strong competitor. Do you think they were just saying out loud what everyone else was thinking?

For sure. For sure.

I’m really curious to see how the next episode unfolds too. I want to see what was said behind the scenes and stuff like that.

They all want to win, right? I don’t blame them. They were very vocal about it, though. I was shocked. I was like, “So you want your crown to mean that you were the worst out of the entire cast? I see how it is.”

When she was like, “You’re a finalist. Don’t you want me to be?” I was like, “Thanks.”

After the episode you put out a rapping roast of your castmates, was that cathartic and how did they react?

They criticized my lyrics. I was like, “Wait. Let me show you how it’s done.” It’s very unlike me, but I was like, “Let’s just have fun.”

My boyfriend—bless his soul—pushes me to get out of my comfort zone all the time. He really helped me through this entire process and my package. He shot all my looks that you see on Instagram and all my videos.

He was like, “Wouldn’t it be so funny if we wrote a little rap roast and released it the day you get eliminated?”

I was like, “Are you joking? Me? A rap roast?” I was shocked by what we came up with.

Before I dropped it, I messaged all the girls the night before and said, “Just so you know, what I’m going to post tomorrow means nothing. It’s just a joke. It’s fun entertainment. We’re drag artists at the end of the day.”

They all loved it. They were repeating the reads to each other.

If you could have a rap battle with any Drag Race queen, who would you choose?

Honestly, Lemon.

She’s the raptress of Canada. I don’t think I’d stand a chance, but I’d love to be absolutely obliterated by her. It’d be fun.

Whats next for you?

When I got the call for All Stars, my boyfriend and I had just started a creative agency called Ionico.

We work with artists from around the world through multimedia, fashion, art, technology, and performance. We’re doing installations. We’re designing entire campaigns for fashion brands.

I’m so happy to see how my drag has carried me into my professional field as well. I really take what I’ve learned through drag into my personal world, too. Our company is growing so fast, and we’re so, so happy about that.

That’s really what’s next for me—focusing on art and creation and expanding my artistry beyond just drag.

Television is just one medium for me to share my work, my art, and my story and really connect with people around the world. That’s the only reason I do it. It’s fun. It’s another medium. I still use it to learn and grow as an artist, and that’s exactly what has happened. I’m really thankful for this opportunity, and I would do it again. Even if I went home first, I’d still do it again.

Oh, I did see another meme where you joked about going home first. Any comment?

Thanos memes! [Laughter] I need to be more active on there!

Like, okay guys. Twitter is fake. The internet is fake. Okay, it’s social media. We’re all joking out there. These people take things so seriously. I’m in my troll era now. I love creating something messy, watching Reddit and Twitter go ablaze, then closing my computer and peacefully going to bed with my cat and my six-foot-five boyfriend.

It’s so fun. I love causing chaos. Honestly, I should have brought more of this onto All Stars.

One thing fans have really loved is seeing your runway archive. Will there be more behind-the-scenes content?

Yes. Oh my God. Yes.

They’re all coming. They’ve been editing everything. Before I even started posting, I had edited about 80 to 90 videos—Reels, behind-the-scenes footage, pictures, everything.

That’s honestly the only reason I said yes to coming back. My boyfriend was the one who pushed me to go back. He said, “Just do it. Take a little break. I’ll carry on with our company and our clients. You have your homecoming moment. Whether you win or not, create a package you’re proud of and show these bitches who you are.”

For the first time, I designed and made literally everything in my package myself. The previous times, I designed everything, but I had to reach out to friends and designers because we have such a short time to prepare. This time around, I made everything.

I literally worked day and night. I would wake up at six in the morning, take a double dose of my Vyvanse, work until three in the morning, go to bed for three hours, wake up, and do it again.

Honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m so proud of everything I’ve done, and so much more is still coming.

If you could give the Golden Beaver to any eliminated Canadas Drag Race queen for another chance, who would it be?

I would have to say Denim or Vivian Vanderpuss. I would love to see what those people would cook up. They’re just so unique.

Youre the Greek queen of the Drag Race universe, so I have to ask: if Drag Race: The Odyssey were real, who would you cast?

Oh my God. Gag!

For me, Odysseus is trade daddy, so I’d have to cast Lina Galore from Drag Race Italia. Mother. She’s so sexy. I’d cast myself as Penelope—for no reason. I’m joking. Calypso would have to be my Greek sister Athena Dion. I think I’d make Circe my other Greek sister, Athena Likis.

And the Cyclops? Ru! The big, scary giant.
