The ‘Claws’ star showed off her anniversary gift on social media.

Niecy Nash-Betts is celebrating her sixth anniversary to Jessica Betts in style.

Nash-Betts began publicly celebrating her anniversary last week, sharing wedding pics and fun videos of her and her wife to social media.

“JB, saying ‘yes’ to you changed my life in the best way! I will find you in every lifetime!” reads the caption on one post. “Ain’t NOBODY who loves me like you do! Locked in til the end of time! 6 years down and we are just getting started….”

One video gained particular attention from Nash-Betts’ fans and friends. Opening with a clip of her crying, the video eventually moves onto Nash-Betts walking around a room covered with rose petals before Betts gets down on one knee and presents her with a 6-carat diamond ring.

“This is what happened on my six year wedding anniversary. What is happening?” an emotional Nash-Betts tells viewers in a subsequent clip. “Yup. I definitely married the right one. I found my person, my best friend, my everything.”

The wives initially connected via social media back in 2015. Nash-Betts was still married to her second husband, Jay Tucker, at the time, although they publicly announced their split in 2019. In August 2020, Nash-Betts surprised the world by announcing her new marriage to Betts, despite the couple not having previously been public about their relationship.

“I didn’t think anyone would care [about my relationship],” she later told Out. “Come to find out, a lot of people cared. I just did not see that coming… I love being Black. I love being a woman. And now I’m a Black queer woman in a relationship with another Black queer woman, and it matters.”
