Just in time for Pride.

If you’re looking for a new song to blast all throughout Pride month, Meg Stalter has you covered.

The actress-turned-singer, best known for her role as Kayla Schaeffer in Hacks, just released her second single, “GAY.”

“SHE’S GAY AND SHE’S COOL AND SHE’S AWESOME! Our Gay song called Gay is out NOW!” Stalter shared via Instagram on Tuesday.

As one might expect from the title, the lyrics are anything but subtle: Stalter’s intro opens up with a bold declaration of “I love gay,” followed by “I know you guys wanted a gay song / Honey, you’re gonna be gaying up and down when you hear this one.”

At its core, “GAY” is just downright fun, almost reminiscent of early Kesha—back when she still spelled her name with a dollar sign. It focuses mostly on the queer female experience (Stalter herself is bisexual and in a relationship with a woman), but makes a point to offer a nod towards drag queens, trans people, and nonbinary folks with lines like, “Protect the dolls, and the serve, and the they.”

The drop comes in the midst of a busy time for Stalter—Hacks just finished airing its final season, she’s taking over the titular role in Broadway’s Oh, Mary! next month, and her full debut album, Crave, is set to be released later this summer. And if the first two songs are any indication, it’s going to be exactly the kind of deranged, carefree fun Stalter has become known for in her comedy.

That does leave some question as to what, exactly, Stalter’s goal here is. Vulture previously acknowledged that it’s “hard to tell…whether this is an actual attempt to pivot, or an extended bit.” But that’s part of what Stalter brings to the table—you don’t necessarily know what she’s doing or why she’s doing it, but it’s still going to be downright delightful.

Hopefully all the gay clubs get the message and keep this song on the playlist for all of Pride and beyond. As Stalter herself directs in the lyrics, “Make sure this song never ends (I’m serious).”
