‘Love Island’ Gives Us The Kiss We’ve Been Dying For
‘Love Island’ Season 7 is delivering!
In the most recent episode of Love Island Season 7, we finally got what we’ve been longing for. If you’re not caught up, this is your official spoiler alert, so head to Peacock and come back to us. On Tuesday night, fans sat with jaws on the floor as we witnessed a juicy and full-of-pie kiss between Cierra and Chelley—not sure who to be more jealous of.
Chelley is a day-trader and full-time baddie from Queens, New York. In her introduction, she tells the audience, “I’ve dated girls before, I date guys, but there’s no label when it comes to me.” Love Island did their big one with her. She continues, “People are like, ‘Are you bi? Are you straight?’ I’m Chelley, that’s it.” After that introduction, naturally, we’re hungry to know if we’re going to see her with a fellow-baddie islander. To our luck, episode eight kept all of us well-fed, and some of us a little thirsty.
In the challenge, the boys get a text saying, “Islanders, it’s time to speak your truth in tonight’s game, Pucker or Pie?” Islanders were asked to choose a juicy question card, including questions like “who’s here for clout?” and “who regrets coupling up with their current partner?” The islander will then flip a coin with a pie on one side and lips on the other. Frosting was everywhere, shade was thrown, and things got messy—not just from the pie. But, who could care less when the kiss between Chelley and Cierra had everybody on the edge of their seats, including the other islanders.

Cierra draws the question, “Which islander gives you red flag vibes?” Without hesitation, she says, “I’m gonna have to say Chelley.” Mind you, our Chelley is the people’s princess, and an unproblematic queen to say the least, so eyebrows were raised at her answer. The scene cuts to Cierra saying in her 1-on-1 with the camera, “Do you know how long I’ve been waiting to get my lips on Chelley??” Cierra threw the coin, but certainly did not flip it, ensuring that the kiss was on lock.
And then… it happened… and not only were fans gagged but it had the guys unknowing of what to do with themselves. Classic man-moment. Austin, her current connection, was literally jumping out of his seat, the girls were screaming, and Nic had his phone out taking photos—side eye…
Fans took to Reddit to relish in the moment we’ve been waiting for. One fan wrote, “WHEN CIERRA SAID SHE HAD BEEN WAITING TO KISS CHELLEY I NEARLY DIED. They have more chemistry than any of these couples do. Love bi-island PLEASE.” So real.
Another said, “All I want is a recoupling where girls pick the guys… then Cierra stands up and picks Chelley leaving the men in the duuuuuust!! Please, it’s what we need.” A personal favorite written by one fan, “SORRY TO CLOWN BUT PLS PLS PLS like they’re both sooooo f*cking beautiful and it’s pride month come on.” Thank you, Chelley and Cierra, for giving us what we need, and we can only hope that the two find each other in the next recoupling.
