Gabby Windey Eloped With Robby Hoffman In Vegas: “Best Night Of My Life”

Congrats to the happy couple!
Bachelorette alum and Traitors star Gabby Windey took to Instagram to reveal her new status: wifey!
Windey and her partner Robby Hoffman were married in an intimate ceremony on January 11. The newlyweds shared the details of their “perfect” wedding with Cosmopolitan, and we are eating up every moment. Congratulations and hints of jealousy are in order!
A series of photos and behind-the-scenes clips of their wedding were shared on Windey’s Instagram in an act of fan service. “Husband and wife!!” Windey wrote alongside the photo carousel. So, how did this elopement come about?
“We had just evacuated from the fires,” Windey told Cosmo. “Literally cue Rihanna, ‘We found love in a hopeless place,’ … What better time to get married than right now? Because if the world is ending, we want to be with each other.”

The couple fled to Vegas with the essentials: their cat, a painting by Hoffman’s grandfather, and Windey’s podcasting equipment. Once they were safely within the City of Sin (and love?), Gabby floated the idea of marriage.
“I’m always the one pumping the brakes, but when something feels right, it just feels right,” she said. “I think it was better for the both of us that it was my idea.”
As if that wasn’t sweet enough, Hoffman’s proposal was the cherry on top. The comedian created a customized crossword puzzle that spelled out the words “Will you marry me, Gabby?” After moments of not piecing it together, Windey finally realized what was happening just in time for Hoffman to hold out the ring. The couple reported being engaged for just one day because who can wait when you’re this in love? They did make time to enjoy their engagement dinner at an all-you-can-eat crab leg buffet, though.
At the actual ceremony, Windey walked down the aisle to “Hot To Go!” by Chappel Roan, wearing a beautiful white lace long-sleeve dress and a bouquet of red roses, while Hoffman waited for her at the altar in a blue button-down long-sleeve and slacks. Hoffman gushed about the ceremony and told Cosmopolitan, “I actually can’t believe how perfect it was … We got to spend our wedding truly together. We love to be together.” Windey chimed in, “It was literally the best night of my life.”
The couple sweetly reflected on their newlywed status and Windey said, “People are like, ‘How does it feel after you’re married? Does it feel the same?’ And the answer is honestly no — it feels better. I feel more committed. This is my wife.” Period.
Congrats to the happy couple!
