Rumor has it Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” had a months-long affair. Sit down and grab your tea, because there’s a lot going on here.
Denise Richards began starring on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in 2019. She brought some much-needed liveliness to the show, and she even married her fiancé, Aaron Phypers, on-camera.
But then! A few weeks ago, reports surfaced that Richards and Brandi Glanville, a former series regular, had an affair when Richards was already married. Richards’ castmates confronted her with “a nasty showdown” about the “months-long affair” during filming for the upcoming season.
“All the drama around these accusations has been filmed,” a source told E! News. “Brandi has text messages and other forms of proof, she claims.”
Richards reportedly quit the show after the ordeal, Us Weekly reports.
“Denise basically stopped filming and pulled a Vanderpump,” a source told Us Weekly. “She stopped showing up once the other girls told Denise what Brandi said.”
Richards’ rep denies the allegations of an affair. Meanwhile, Glanville has not addressed the rumors outright. She did, however, post a cryptic caption on Instagram that appears to allude to the scandal.
“When you want to respond but are not ‘allowed’ to…” she wrote alongside a photo of herself on “Watch What Happens Live.”

And the drama goes even deeper! Richards allegedly told Glanville that she and her husband were in an open marriage, according to the Daily Mail. Apparently, this affair thing was an ~open secret~ for some time.
“Everyone in Beverly Hills knows about it,” a source told the Daily Mail.
Another source added: “I feel really sorry for Aaron as he is a good guy and Denise is crazy for thinking she could have an affair while filming a reality show and get away with it.”
