Although Christine and Jessica were classmates at LaGuardia Performing Arts High School (yes, the Fame school) they were barely acquainted. It was not until a chance meeting one evening, five years later, at Henrietta Hudson that their friendship began. I walked straight over to her and said, Did not you go to LaGuardia? Jessica, right? Not my best pick-up line, Christine laughs, but it worked. A year later, their friendship had blossomed into love. Jessica and Christine made it official on April 27, 2012, tying the knot in their home state of New York, which they remember as the best day of their lives. Jessica even managed to astound the admittedly difficult-to-surprise Christine with an appearance by a drag queen dressed as her idol Beyonce. While honesty and good communication contribute to their happiness, Jessica says Christins loyalty to me and us is the kicker. She shows me that anything is possible, adds Christine. In addition to their three adorable Westies , they hope to soon add to their family with the pitter-patter of the two-footed variety.
