Fashion lesbians, sound the alarms. Gucci is known for its iconic and sometimes unexpected collaborations, and this one might be its best yet. Fashion forecasters predict that a Gucci x Birkenstock collaboration is on the horizon. Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted wearing the never-before-seen Gucci Birks at an Indigo Girls concert this NYFW. Just kidding. The “And Just Like That” actor was seen wearing the shoes while filming the second season of the series on February 2, 2023. Paparazzi captured the lewk and much to our delight, SJP even lezz-ed it up to the next level with the addition of a tote bag.
The collab hasn’t been announced by Gucci nor Birkenstock, but we are hopeful that it will be announced soon as SJP and her character Carrie Bradshaw are always on the cutting edge of new fashion.
The Gucci Birks are covered in the signature GG monogram print, and is the perfect marriage for all the label wh*res out there whose feet are aching from heels. This isn’t the first time Birkenstock has collaborated with a luxury brand, nor is it the first time Gucci has collaborated with a lesbian staple. In 2021, Birkenstock partnered with Dior on a collection of sling-backs and mules. Gucci started collaborating with North Face in 2021 and has since put out three “chapters.”
We’ll be keeping an eye out for the official announcement of the Gucci x Birkenstock collab. Until then, we’ll keep dreaming up other lesbian luxury collabs… I’m personally not opposed to a Versace strap-on.
