Curious about those WLW Vertical dramas that keep popping up on your For You Page? Here’s where to start.

Also known as “micro dramas,” vertical series bring all the scandal, longing stares, shocking reveals, and over-the-top drama of daytime soaps directly to your TikTok or Instagram feed.  Each episode is between one and two minutes long and, of course, leaves you on a cliffhanger that basically forces you to watch the next episode.

Designed specifically for social media, these bite-sized dramas might not be shining examples of the best writing, acting, or directing, but hey, messy TV is popular for a reason. The problem is that there are just so many of them, with new series popping up every day. Where does one craving a binge-watch even begin?

Don’t worry, GO has you covered. We rounded up five of our favorites that will allow you to fully partake in steamy brainrot without watching those AI slop fruit dramas we keep seeing on our feeds.

Binge now and thank us later.

1. “Chained by Her Love”

What it’s about: Leslie Ferrer needs money to care for her sick mother, so she takes a job as assistant to Margaret Ackroyd, the ultra-powerful (and ultra-sexy) CEO of a lingerie design house. Their questionable “professional” relationship quickly becomes scandalous when Margaret funds treatment for Leslie’s mother.

Why we love it: Everyone has a Russian accent, which inherently makes everything hotter. The boss-employee dynamic is sexy as hell. And there’s lots of lingerie. It’s kind of like Fifty Shades of Grey if it were a sapphic workplace soap opera. Need we say more?

2. “Break Me, Princess”

What it’s about: An orphan nun named Lily is on scholarship at the prestigious Royal Academy of Regalia. On her first day, she makes enemies with Princess Aurora Crownwell, a wealthy heiress who runs the school politically and socially. The enemies-to-lovers arc pits them against each other for status and control, until they uncover an undeniable mutual attraction.

Why we love it: Status dynamics are at the forefront of this mini-drama, where a constant power struggle unfolds between the stereotypical hot rich girl and the nerdy virginal nun. What’s not to like? If you ever watched Gilmore Girls and secretly hoped Rory Gilmore and Paris Gellar had electric chemistry, then this is the show for you. Oh, and there are more Russian accents!

3. “Her Heart Held Hostage”

What it’s about: When her family’s restaurant owes $1 million to Dominque Bloom, Eliza must become the mafiosa’s sexual plaything. As she tries to protect her family, she’s pulled deeper into danger, manipulation, and an attraction she never expected.

Why we love it: Again, power dynamics are at the forefront here, and it’s hot, like really hot. Her Heart Held Hostage is propulsive in its pacing and leaves you rooting for Eliza’s family and the sexy (if, admittedly, problematic) Stockholm syndrome dynamic between the two female leads.

4. “The Summer In Between”

What it’s about: At Camp Evergreen, scholarship camper Ava gets caught in a love triangle with siblings Kat and Kris. Their rivalry sparks bisexual chaos as the pair fight for Emily’s affection and allegiance.

Why we love it: This is the perfect summer binge that incorporates poolside shenanigans, bonfire drama, and sun-kissed intrigue you can’t get enough of. Plus, watching a naive girl who’s never even had her first kiss try to figure out her sexuality is pretty much as juicy as it gets.

5. “Under Her Protection”

What it’s about: After her mother’s murder puts college student Anna Knowles at risk, she goes under the protection of Jo, a badass bodyguard. As danger closes in, their protector-protectee dynamic turns into a romance.

Why we love it: Jo is the quintessential bad girl you probably had a crush on in middle school. Think Shane McCutcheon from The L Word meets Faith Lehane from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. We get to watch young Anna learn some self-defense skills from this sexy rebel while also picking up some sexual prowess along the way. This mini-drama has checked every box, in our humble opinion.
