5 Lesbian Things To Do In New York City This Weekend

It’s a beautiful Friday to be a lesbian, New York! So many events, so little time.

Saturday

Manmosa Drag King Brunch at SingleCut Beersmiths QNS (19-33 37th St.) at 12 p.m. — There are many drag brunches in New York, but have you ever seen a drag KING brunch? Now there’s one in Queens, featuring $10 carafes of beer and no cover.

Yes Homo at C’mon Everybody (325 Franklin Ave.) at 5 p.m. — It’s the one year anniversary party of this queer daytime dance party! No cover.

Babetown Cruising at 109 E. 12st St. at 7 p.m. — A cruising party just in time for Valentine’s Day, hosted by Babetown, a pop-up supper club for queer women, trans and non-binary people.

BK Queer Flea: Valentine’s Day Market at 3 Dollar Bill (260 Meserole St.) at 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. — If you finish at Babetown early, come check out this flea market in Brooklyn and buy your new sweetie a gift! Lots of queer vendors will be there selling their wares, plus food and drinks available.

Honey Please with Mouthfeel at Metropolitan Bar (559 Lorimer St.) at 6 p.m. — This free event will feature disco, pop, house, soul, and queer classics and is an intentional space for trans, non-binary and GNC people.

Sunday

BoiPKG x Ten Yards Clothing Fashion Show at Venus In Furs (990 Broadway) at 8 p.m. — Two Brooklyn-based designers are presenting their debut collections at this fashion show, “for the discerning queer fashionista.” There will also be performances, and a portion of proceeds will go to the Black Trans Travel Fund.
