Friday

Couches ft. Kingsley Ibeneche, Tra$h Magnolia, BLK, Heelturn, Legatron at Hotel Peter & Paul (2317 Burgundy St.) at 7:30 p.m. — The comfiest live music event in the city, because there are literal couches. Co-produced by two queer women of color.

Saturday

Trans Day Of Remembrance Resistance and Resilience at Parish Hall (2533 Columbus St.) at 12 p.m. — An annual celebration that takes TDOR a step further by also centering resistance and resilience. Hosted by Youth BreakOUT, a youth LGBTQ organization.

New Orleans Troublemakers School at Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church (2022 St. Bernard Ave.) at 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. — A day of labor organizing workshops and discussions. Sliding scale.

Breakfast With Mermaids at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas (1 Canal St.) at 8:30 a.m. — Taking a WILD guess here and assuming that many lesbians would love to have breakfast with a bunch of mermaids. I mean.

All Weekend

Trans Scripts Part I at Allways Lounge & Theatre (2240 St. Claude Ave.) — A live show based on interviews with 75 trans people of various ages and ethnicities. Runs from Friday through Monday, with daily shows at 7 p.m.
