Women’s Full Moon Gathering at Temescal Canyon Gateway Park (15601 W. Sunset Blvd.) at 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. — Ring in the new year with this day-long celebration for the first full moon of the decade.

Saturday

Center South: Grand Opening at Los Angeles LGBT Center (2313 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.) at 11 a.m. — Celebrate the grand opening of the newest location of the Los Angeles LGBT Center: Center South. Featuring speakers, tours, and a celebration.

Sunday

Wine and Whine Feminist and Queer Book Club Meeting at Caffe Vita (4459 Sunset Blvd.) at 11:30 a.m. — A monthly meet-up and book club group for queer women and feminists. This month’s book is the lesbian romance “When Katie Met Cassidy” by Camille Perri.

QTIPOC Polyam Meetup at Cutie’s Coffee (710 N. Heliotrope Dr.) at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. — A meet-up for queer brown and black people who practice, or are interested in practicing, polyamory.

Queer Mindfulness at East Hollywood Meditation Center (4300 Melrose Ave.) at 3:30 p.m. — A space for LGBTQ+ folks to sit in guided meditation together and share in a community discussion.
