First Saturday Funnies: New Year’s Edition at the UU Church of Studio City (12355 Moorpark St.) at 7:30 p.m. — Drinks and comedy for the LGBTQ community, featuring “some of the finest comedians in L.A.”. Free, everyone welcome.

LGBTQ Salsa/Bachata Social Dance at Lumina Academy of Dance (1052 N. Allen Ave.) at 9 p.m. — A social dance class just for LGBTQ folks! Drinks and snacks provided, or bring your own. All levels welcome.
