Pinche Queen Presents: softBUTCH at Redline Gay Bar (131 E. 6th St.) at 10 p.m. — This weekly dance party is for queers of all genders, with midnight shows by Frankie Doom and Xochi Mochi. No cover.

Saturday

Marginalized: A Special Event With QueerWise at Skylight Theatre Company (1816 1/2 N. Vermont Ave.) at 3 p.m. — This special performance about queer discrimination will be performed by the artists of QueerWise, a spoken word collective in residence at Skylight.

You Ball: A Queer Disco at Redline Gay Bar (131 E. 6th St.) at 6 p.m. — This artist showcase and queer disco features performers Isodora, Zee Machine, Billie Shakespeare, Jay Long, and Levenbirds, plus queer art vendors and raffle prizes. Tickets are $10.

Sunday

Kickback Queer Brunch at Xelas (1846 1/2 E. 1st St.) at 12 p.m. — This Sunday queer brunch party will feature plenty of drink specials and sounds by Killed By Synth.

All Weekend

Femme: An Exploration of Queer Femininity at Massman Theatre at USC (1029 Childs Way) — Femme is a “documentary-style theatre piece that explores the nuances of queer femininity and the femme identity,” based on fall 2019 interviews with femme queer people on USC. Presented by ART/EMIS and director Elizabeth Schuetzle. Shows run all weekend; see the event page for showtimes and tickets.
