Lesbian V-Day parties, QTPOC party, deaf party.

Honestly might need to buy a flight to L.A. just to go to these lesbian events this weekend! Good stuff here.

Friday

Coqta Vol. 3 at Faultline (4216 Melrose Ave.) at 9 p.m. — A cute queer party with performances by Mx. Matias and Gemma Castro, a kissing booth, DJs, and MC Izla. Funds go toward the Center for Embodied Pedagogy and Action. Tickets are $5 presale or $8 at the door; no one turned away for lack of funds.

QueerGirl Los Angeles Valentines Party at Boardners by La Belle (1652 N. Cherokee Ave.) at 10 p.m. — This special Valentine’s Day event is tailored to the queer women community and is inclusive to everyone. Think bottle service, go-go dancers, and obviously a lively dance floor. Tickets are $12 online or $20 at the door.

Saturday

Spacemakers Presents: Connect at The Line Hotel (3515 Wilshire Blvd.) at 10 p.m. — Spacemakers, a monthly meetup for queer and trans people of color, is celebrating their one year anniversary with “a non-traditional take on Valentine’s Day.” Cocktails, DJs, and a special performance. Free with RSVP.

Shut Up and Kiss Me at The Little Easy (216 W. 5th St.) at 5 p.m. — Shut Up and Kiss Me is a “romantic as f*ck lesbian and queer LGBTQ+ Valentine’s dinner show,” featuring live jazz vosalists, pasta, and a full bar. The perfect gay V-Day date.

LGBTQ ASL Night at Precinct DTLA (357 South Broadway) at 8 p.m. — This is a free, monthly event for the deaf LGBTQ community in L.A., plus ASL allies. Free before 9 p.m.
