This weekend’s roster of Denver lesbian events is full of cool performances, plus “The L Word” of course.

Friday

Make Them Hear You: Denver Women’s Chorus at Central Presbyterian Church (1660 Sherman St.) at 7 p.m. — The Denver Women’s Chorus, a group with lesbian origins, is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment with a concert called Make Them Hear You. Shows are on the 24th and the 25th at 7 p.m.

Grlz n Guitrz at Blush & Blu (1526 E. Colfax Ave.) at 9 p.m. — A cool rock show at the best bar in town! Featuring two all-girl bands, the Blackouts and Dear Marsha.

BITE Alternative Drag Show at Pride and Swagger (450 E. 17th Ave #110) at 9:30 p.m. — An alternative drag show for non-conforming perfomers, hosted by two non-binary drag performers, Evelyn Evermoore and Heavenly Powers.

Sunday

BYOB: A Queer Crash Course In Makeup at Above Ground Hair (2737 Welton St.) at 1 p.m. — Above Ground, a queer salon and barber shop, is hosting a crash source in makeup skills, taught by a local makeup artist and drag artist.

The L Word Watch Party at Blush & Blu (1526 E. Colfax Ave.) at 6 p.m. — It’s season finale time, so take your butts to Blush & Blu to watch in a crowd full of queers.
