I don’t know about you, but I am newly vaccinated and ready to freakin’ party (safely!). The stress of the past year has been pent up and I am ready to let my freak flag fly. Spring and summer is a time for LGTBQ+ people to blossom– it’s time for Pride, it’s time for glitter, it’s time for short shorts.

I am so excited because BRUNCH IS BACK! Cynthia Russo & LasReinasNYC are bringing us the gift of mimosas. Hallelujah. Sunday, April 25th will be the 1st brunch event since the dark times began, so you can imagine it will be quite the party! Reservations are required so sign up soon! At a very affordable $10 per person, you can soon be dancing on a real live dance floor, music by DJ LENA (Top 40, Hip Hop, Reggae, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Reggaeton and so much more). Savor Pride will be the perfect date for food lovers who miss dinners in flashy restaurants but don’t yet want to venture out to them. NYC Pride and God’s Love We Deliver team up for this immersive culinary fundraiser that is sure to tickle your taste buds. Savor Pride will be on Wednesday, April 28th at 6:30 P.M. E.T. The featured chef this year is Chef Zoe Adjonyoh. Join hosts Mavis-Jay Sanders & Sicily Sierra for a virtual food fest.
Pride Center of Staten Island Presents Pride Bowling Night at Rab’s Country Lanes May 1st
I just can’t wait to sink my fingers into some holes…bowling ball holes! Get your mind (and your ball) out of the gutter because Pride Bowling is BACK! Pride Bowling will kick off Staten Island Pride month on Saturday May 1st.
The fun doesn’t stop with the kickoff party, though. On the 2nd Friday of every month at 7:30 p.m., for only $20 per person, you will have: fun, 2 full games of bowling, pizza, soda, bowling balls, rental shoes, and more fun. Wear a fun mask or ELSE!

Women’s Pride in the Pines June 12th
Are you as ready as I am to be tipsy on the Fire Island Ferry? Good, I’ll see you there on the way to Women’s Pride in the Pines “10th Anniversary” non-stop party. The party is on June 12th, 2021 and you can click here to get your tickets now. The day is broken up into different events so you can rock to whatever fits your groove.
From 1-4 p.m. there’s a white/silver party at Whyte Hall, F.I. Pines, featuring DJ Susan Levine with dancing, an open wine and vodka bar, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction. Tickets are $125 per person which includes a buffet dinner and show.
From 5:30-8:30 p.m., join them for another open wine and vodka bar, buffet dinner, and a show, featuring hilarious comedian Jessica Kirson who you might recognize from “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” “The View,” and “Kevin Can Wait”. Single tickets include dancing, dinner and show for $200 per person. Couples tickets include all of the same awesome activities for $400 per couple.
While you’re having a party in the Pines you’ll also be helping a great cause!
Women’s Pride in the Pines is hosted by the LGBTQ Focus Foundation, whose mission is to “[provide] funds and awareness to support LGBTQ and Questioning community organizations and their allies. We partner with gay and gay/straight alliances to fund innovative leaders and programs that promote equality and stability, educate and provide a safe environment.”

LezVolley is officially hosting their Cherry Grove Summer Volleyball Tournament. You can sign up now to register your team.
