Cara Delevingne Describes Her ‘Worst Date’ At a Lesbian Sex Party
The vibe was not vibing.
Everyone has a worst date story, but Cara Delevingne might give the rest of us a run for our money.
Delevingne recently swung by the Cosmopolitan offices to take part in their Blind Date series, which sees editor-in-chief Willa Bennett blindfolded and meeting up with surprise celebrity guests for a table-side chat. While much of the 20-minute conversation focused on Delevingne’s recent pivot into music and her debut album, Not Normal, the conversation eventually got around to Bennett asking about the worst date she’s ever been on.
“I went to a lesbian sex party once that was bad,” Delevingne replied bluntly. “I left, quickly.”
After clarifying that “nothing happened” while she was there, she also joked that the whole thing was so bad that she “blacked out” and couldn’t even remember what music was playing when she arrived.
“Maybe like Flo Rida? It was bad,” she continued. “It was in a gymnasium and the lights were really bright. I went in a mask and we were all attached to each other…and it wasn’t that. It wasn’t that at all.
“Everyone was wearing like, kitten heels. I don’t know how else to describe it. It wasn’t good.”
That the Club Kid actress has attended a lesbian sex party certainly doesn’t come as a surprise. As part of the Hulu docuseries Planet Sex, Delevingne attended a Skirt Club party in Los Angeles, which appeared to be a much better experience.
During the interview, Delevingne was also asked if she had any comment on Kendall Jenner—a question she wisely side-stepped by simply saying, “Oh, I love her. She’s a babe.”
The two recently appeared together on an episode of The Kardashians, during which Jenner denied existing speculation that she and Delevingne had previously dated.
“For the record, I think being a lesbian would be fun and amazing and easier,” Jenner said at the time, ultimately sparking backlash online. “By the way, I have nothing against having sex with Cara. I just have never had a desire to have sex with women.”
When Delevingne followed up by asking who she would sleep with if she “had to have sex with a woman,” Jenner didn’t exactly help her case, replying, “You! Obviously.”
Hopefully just not at a lesbian sex party in a gymnasium as Flo Rida blasts over the speaker system.
