Beanie Feldstein and her wife, producer Bonnie-Chance Roberts, are expecting a baby girl—and the lesbian joy levels here are off the charts.
During an interview with CBS Mornings about their new children’s book, Teeny and Tilly, journalist Gayle King hilariously pointed out all the pink featured in the couple’s dreamy pregnancy announcement photos shared on Instagram.
“You were surrounded by a lot of pink, makes me think it’s a girl baby,” King said.
“It’s a girl baby!” Feldstein confirmed.
The release of a children’s book and preparing to welcome a newborn? The timing honestly couldn’t be sweeter.
The couple clearly seems over the moon in the announcement photos. Feldstein and Roberts tied the knot in May 2023 with a summer-camp-themed wedding, which is right on brand for two people who quite literally met while making a coming-of-age movie together. If there were ever a time to make a lesbian summer camp joke, it would be now.
The pair first met on the set of the 2019 coming-of-age comedy film How to Build a Girl, where Roberts worked as a producer while Feldstein starred in the leading role.
Now, the couple is entering an entirely new chapter together—one filled with creative projects and preparing for parenthood. Congratulations to the happy couple and their soon-to-be camp counselor-coded daughter.
