Hey divas, it’s looking like this will be the gayest summer yet. Lesbian pop is clocking in early for the annual song of the summer debate.
Our lesbian Jesus, Hayley Kiyoko, just announced the official soundtrack for her upcoming Girls Like Girls film, and the vibes are exactly as the title suggests, which means…
We’re looking at a season soundtracked entirely by identity shifts, sapphic longing, and maybe a little temptation to text your ex (or an old fling).
The Girls Like Girls album drops on June 12 and is already available for pre-order, because of course it is—you don’t casually release what might become the lesbian summer bible. The first single, “Collide,” featuring Gigi Perez, is already out, setting the tone with soft heartbreak and just enough yearning to ruin your day in a good way.
The two also performed the iconic Girls Like Girls song—that started it all—at Coachella 2026. Truly, a heartwarming moment.
And the lineup? Stacked. We’re talking contributions from Young Miko, Chelsea Cutler, Joy Oladokun, August Ponthier, Snow Wife, and Tegan and Sara. In other words, your aux cord is booked and busy.
A full-on lesbian movie paired with a soundtrack made by and for sapphics? Summer plans may now include driving around dramatically at night, staring out of windows, and pretending you’re in a music video.
