On Monday, April 6, Lady Gaga broke sad news: she would be canceling her final performance in Montreal due to a respiratory infection, which has worsened despite rest. “I’m so sorry to share that I’m unable to perform tonight and have to cancel the show,” the superstar wrote on IG. “I’ve been fighting a respiratory infection for the past few days and doing everything I can to rest and recover, but it’s gotten worse.”

Gaga had delivered two gothic-rich shows in Montreal on April 2 and 3, but her doctor strongly advised that she take the third show in the city off. The artist also expressed concern that she might not be able to deliver the quality of a performance that she feels her fans deserve.

“I know how deeply disappointing this is, and I truly could not feel worse about letting you down,” the “Abracadabra” singer wrote. “I’m so sorry to everyone who made plans to be there and support me. Being in Montreal and performing for you on Thursday and Friday was magical and deeply meaningful. To everyone who was coming tonight, I’m absolutely heartbroken and so sorry.”

Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball Tour has weathered a few schedule tweaks since getting underway last July. Due to an immensely positve response and high demand, particuarly in Asia, a second leg was added with additional cities, including three shows to be performed at the Bell Centre in Montreal. In September, she was forced to reschedule her Miami show to March 2026 due to vocal strain. Health permitting, Gaga is expected for two nights in Saint Paul, Minn. (April 9–10), and to wrap things up at Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 13.

Gaga was excited to announce the tour – to accompany her 2025 Mayhem album release. “This show is designed to be the kind of theatrical and electrifying experience that brings MAYHEM to life exactly how I envision it,” she wrote back in March 2025. “The MAYHEM Ball Tour is officially coming your way. See you soon, monsters.”
