Happy news, queers! Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause and musician G Flip are married! PEOPLE confirmed that the happy couple got married after Stause posted what appeared to be a wedding picture as part of a reel on Instagram.
“Love doesn’t always go as planned… Sometimes it’s immeasurably better,” Stause captioned the video posted on Wednesday, which showed cute moments between the couple and culminated in a wedding photo. The song featured in the video is G Flip’s newest songs “I’ll Be Your Man.”
The couple first met on Halloween in 2021 when they were both in other relationships.
“We were both with our ex-partners then … And then, we obviously separated from our partners, and we just started talking and stuff,” they explained. “We just found a lot of similarities, even though people would think we are from like different corners of the world. We find ourselves so similar sometimes,” G Flip recalled on an episode of PEOPLE Every Day podcast.
Stause revealed her relationship with G Flip to the world during the Selling Sunset reunion episode.
“I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They’re non-binary, so they go by they/them. And they are an extremely talented musician,” she said to the cast of Selling Sunset and host Tan France.
“It started because I was just going to be in their video. And it’s about this chaotic love story. I come from soaps, I love acting. And with the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it. At first of course I was like yes, let’s do that,” Stause continued. In the video for G Flip’s “GET ME OUTTA HERE,” the pair are making out in a convenience store. G Flip told Vogue Australia that they thought Stause was “definitely still straight,” at the time of the video, but things quickly escalated between the two lovers.
Upon recognizing her attraction for G Flip, Stause told Vogue Australia, “[It] opened my brain up to the fact that I’m attracted to energy, not whatever physical thing that people have in their head,” she told the outlet. “I don’t have a type.”
Now, the couple looks happier than ever and are MARRIED!
“They found love together in an unexpected place but nothing has ever felt more real to them,” a source told PEOPLE.
