Can you handle it, babes? It seems as if the entire Internet is ablaze with Ruby Rose love.
We can expect to see Ruby Rose in full Batwoman action December 9 on The CW’s Arrow-verse. She’ll make her debut during the crossover TV event that will feature characters from other DC shows on the CW including Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl. All the characters are mixing together, hence the name “crossover.”
As you lezzies might remember, Rose’s initial Batwoman announcement caused a bit of controversy among those who thought she wasn’t “gay enough” to play Batwoman (what???). Yeah, we don’t get it either. We’re just over-the-moon excited to see an IRL queer woman play a queer character on mainstream TV—and to see Rose show off her acting skills. We’re also over-the-moon excited to see Ruby Rose in spandex.
Rose’s stunning costume was designed by the one-and-only, award-winning Colleen Atwood, who was also behind the intricate costumes in Chicago, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, Alice In Wonderland, and more.
